According to the Telegraph (LINK HERE), Google’s annual Zeitgeist conference, held in the luxury Grove hotel in Herefordshire, begins today with a celebrity line-up of speakers said to include former US President Bill Clinton and model Lily Cole. Hmmm, really?
The invitation-only conference aims to bring together the “great minds of our time” on issues ranging from technology to politics to the arts.
Every year Google’s co-founder Larry Page and executive chairman Eric Schmidt fly over from California to host the British event.
Previous attendees include Prince Charles, David Cameron and Sir Richard Branson.
This year’s schedule was leaked last month, to the annoyance of Google, and is also believed to include Goldman Sach’s BRIC’s guru.
The event is not open to the media. However, on Wednesday, the annual Big Tent event takes place – which is specifically designed for journalists and will feature the likes of veteran news broadcast Jon Snow.
Great if it is at Leominsters Grove Golf and Bowl but, sadly I think the mistake is for once the other way around. Hertfordshire is the more likely location.
